Since its first inception in 1998, International Exhibition on Airport has been perceived as a unique event that is fully dedicated to airport construction, development, and airport equipment, facilities & technologies in China.   Being successfully held in 1998 & 2000, Airport Exhibition has been widely recognized by Airport Department General Administration of Civil Aviation of China and the industry players from home and abroad.
In order to affiliate with the development of central & western region of China, <Airport 2001> will be on stage in Chengdu, a core city of southwestern part of China.   The success of Airport Expo is attributed to the swift development of China's civil aviation industry that incessantly import advanced equipment, facilities and technologies which creates a lot of trade cooperation for local and foreign manufacturers & suppliers. 
An International Forum on Airport Construction & Development will be held in concurrent with the exhibition that will congregate elites of the industry.   International professionals and high-ranking officials from home and abroad will be invited to give speeches on the development and market situation of airports in China and share their experience on the advanced airport technology and equipment as well as management expertise.
